- Obsessive
- Compulsive
- This is a serious and not a joke. It is hard to live with OCD. If you honestly think you want this to be cool and Hip or if you think you have it just because you like your shelves organized or your colors in order and just that then it’s insulting as hell. It is already considered a joke by the mass media and society in general, the name itself used to shame not only sufferers of the disorder but anyone who falls into its stupid and constricting stereotypes. Ones that if sufferers themselves don’t fall into, they become invalidated all over again. And in writing (or just in general REALLY) if you just turn it into a joke or a quirk or make it encompass a someone’s entire personality or demonize it or any combination of these things listed above you have just managed to further invalidate, hurt, and contribute to the shaming of approximately 3% of the world population (that’s ~210,000,000 people!) Congratulations.
